• Denver is Ulaanbaatar's sister city. Mayor Enkhbold of Ulaanbaatar and Mongolia’s Prime Minister Enkhbayar were able to visit Denver for the official signing of the Sister City Agreement with Mayor Webb on Nov. 7, 2001.
• Denver has the largest population of Mongolians in the United States
• Denver and Ulaanbaatar are close to the same latitude, but it gets much much colder in Mongolia. (Denver 39.7° N) (Ulaanbaatar 47° N).
